Christmas Bedding: Baby, It’s Cold Outside

Christmas is coming! Like so many families at the beginning of December, we start off the festivities by getting our home ready for the season. Only very recently have we started to embrace the idea of continuing the festive theme upstairs, and this year in particular my children have been so excited to create a little winter wonderland in each of their bedrooms. With the help of George, we’ve been busy making their individual spaces feel cosy and seasonal. They’re so delighted with the results, and it’s going to be very difficult to tear them away from these sweet, holiday-themed rooms.

For little girls, we loved this Christmas Cheer Village bedding range . The bright colours and sweet house design are both pretty and festive. We teamed it with the Bright Knitted Fair isle cushion and a Jumbo cord one too, for a different take on a Christmas colour scheme. And for the ultimate cosy feel, we added a faux fur throw to stay snug on those frosty evenings.

Little festive accessories help to change the look of Eva’s bedroom, and can be easily removed and stored away come January.

And what room would be complete at this time of year without some fairy lights for extra sparkle?

Santa Claus is coming to town!

We went for a very traditional look in Noah’s room and this Tartan duvet set, coupled with a Tapestry cushion adds a festive flavour whilst still feeling contemporary and grown up. To keep with the theme (and to curl up in whilst writing our letters to Saint Nick!) we added a Sherpa throw. Practical and cosy for these winter weeks.

And because we’re super optimistic and confident that we’ve been really good this year, we’re leaving Santa out these giant sacks to fill. Fingers crossed he’s feeling generous this year!

No bedroom haven would be complete without the softest pyjamas to wear, and we’re finding ourselves in these festive themed ones earlier and earlier every evening (see main photo). The children’s ones are so sweet, and I’ve been loving mine too. Perfect for relaxing in our little grottos!
