Planning ahead of time and discussing with your family which activities they would like to do is super important. It’s a good idea to research any places you’re visiting before, set a budget and make an itinerary for the day.
Always remember to schedule some time for gaps between activities for travel and rest – and the most important thing… have plenty of fun!

Taking kids on a day out often means anything could happen!
Consider all the activities you’ll be participating in throughout the day. Will you need to bring some yummy snacks? Pack a few in some kitchen storage containers. Will the kids need a change of clothes? Have a kids’ unisex outfit at the ready. Are they going to be making a splash? Dive right into our girls’ swimwear and boys’ swimwear collections.
Pick Your Destination
When planning a family day out, start off by considering activities your children will enjoy. If your little explorer is obsessed with planets and the stars, why not nip to the Space Museum? Play Holiday Games

Take A Break
After an early start to the day, it’s always important to take a break! Plan some mid-afternoon downtime, find a grassy spot, sit back, relax, and enjoy the sunshine.

Make Some Memories
Having an awesome day out with your loved ones is a moment to cherish! You can record the wonderful day by getting your little one to write a journal entry with a few sentences about the visit and the best part of their day.
